TUESDAY VOLUNTEER AT TURNER GUILFORD KNIGHT (TGK) CORRECTIONAL CENTER
Description: Dialogic circles for volunteers and incarcerated youth to participate in goal-setting, problem solving, and positive peer leadership mentoring reentry activities.

Description: Teams of volunteers participate in Positive Peer Leadership Mentoring strategic planning with inmates who seek change in their lives.

E-SToPP FREEDOM SCHOOLS SUMMER PROGRAM
Description: Servant leader internship for university volunteers and high-risk youth to co-create freedom school curriculum that involves positive peer leadership mentoring, academic, literacy, citizenship, arts, recreation, and entrepreneurial project-based learning.

SOUTHERN EDUCATION FOUNDATION LEADERSHIP INITIATIVE (SELI) FELLOWSHIP
Description: Apply for a SELI Fellowship with E-SToPP through our partner, Southern Education Foundation.

COURSE CREDIT INTERNSHIP
Description: Course credit internship through E-SToPP is attained by applying through the university/college you attend. Ask your university/college professor or department for details.

PPLM REENTRY PROGRAM MENTORSHIP (PILOT)
Description:Approved volunteers mentor youth through reentry and transition from juvenile justice system to community, family, and school.
Location #1: Pending.
COMMUNITY PUBLIC RELATIONS VOLUNTEER
Description: Teams of volunteers participate in “Walking One Stops,” “Reentry Hubs,” and “Reentry Fairs” in trauma- and violence-burdened neighborhoods to survey and support residents’ reentry needs and goals.

PRISON FAIR PUBLIC RELATIONS VOLUNTEER
Description: Teams of volunteers participate in “Prison Reentry Fairs” to survey and support inmates’ needs and goals as returning citizens.

PPLM NEWSLETTER TEAM
Description: PPLM Newsletters are a team effort to publish youths’ writing. Youth write the contents for the newsletters during PPLM sessions. A team of volunteers transcribe youths’ writings; analyze the contents thematically; create, design, and illustrate the newsletter; and publish the final product for distribution throughout the community.

PPLM PEN PAL MENTORING TEAM
Description: PPLM Pen Pal Mentoring Team is a group letter writing project. University student (or professional) groups collectively write letters of encouragement to incarcerated youth. These letters provide youth with tangible hope and dreams for rising above their struggles. These letters are anonymous and approved by E-SToPP board members. They are distributed in mass to youth during a PPLM session. Each youth is given the opportunity to read and/or comment on his or her letter aloud.

E-SToPP WEB DESIGN & SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM
Description: Volunteers advance community awareness and engagement with E-SToPP’s mission and vision through social media, including its website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, social app development project, and more.

WALKING ONE STOPS & REENTRY HUBS TEAM
Description: Volunteers advance community awareness and engagement with E-SToPP’s mission and vision through social media, including its website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, social app development project, and more.
SATURDAY OF SERVICE TEAM
Description: Network, plan, and schedule field days for volunteers and youth to participate in sports, mentoring, and team-building activities in juvenile justice facilities, educational alternative outreach programs, transitional group homes, and the community.
KEEPING PARENTS/CAREGIVERS INFORMED TEAM
Description: Contact parents/caregivers of youths in juvenile justice facilities, educational alternative outreach programs, transitional group homes, and community and inform them of the various programs E-SToPP has to offer.
GRANT WRITING TEAM
Description: Collaborate to write Children’s Trust (and other) grants that fund E-SToPP’s Summer, After-School, and Reentry Programs.
FUNDRAISER TEAM
Description: Collaborate on concession, social media, and annual one-day online fundraising efforts. Course credit, internships, fellowships, Federal Work Study, Global Medallion, Peace Corps Prep Cohorts, and other community service hours applicable.
