Heather Burdick

A teacher, an activist, and a prison abolitionist, Heather Burdick is a member of the Police Practices Committee, the Legal Panel, and Chair of the Juvenile Justice Committee for the Greater Miami Chapter of the ACLU. This year, she co-founded both Miami Girls Rock Camp and the Miami chapter of the national juvenile justice organization Save the Kids. In a prior life, she co-founded the first league of the modern roller derby movement.
